Lea Meadows nature reserve, Charnwood Forest, Leicestershire

The site is owned by the Wildlife Trust. Some years part of the reserve is summer grazed by Shetland cattle and some years parts of the reserve are left for the flowers to set seed and then those areas are cut for hay, in August. The best time to visit is June.
